I bought the Car Dock from a Verizon store today for $32 (have company discount) and it's all nice and rounded w/ a good looking Samsung label in the middle. 1st car dock that I actually like!

I ordered mine today, since none of the stores in my area had it in stock. I am not worried about it charging thru the dock since I ran a USB charging cable from behind a panel in my Durango up the "A" pillar and then over to the center of my headliner. from there it connects to a short micro USB for charging. I hate wires and cables hanging every where in my vehicle.
I am in and out of the car a lot. I really like a car dock for both convenience and safety. I do worry about the wear on the USB connector and would prefer the contact charging points. Waiting for this to be available.

I'm waiting for the one with the charging / audio port that was in a video a while back. I also want the horizontal dock for home, but that doesn't seem to be out yet either
Yeah, apparently the UK version (the one in the video referenced earlier) has the charging and base plugin. Don't have a clue why this one doesn't. I will definitely be waiting. I almost pulled the triffer until I read a review and noticed no pin charging/base plugin etc. Other than that though, it seemed like a nice enough dock.
Did this dock come with a removable insert that would allow you to use this dock with the VZW holster case?
