Samsung Watch

Lol I still love the Apple watch though personally, may be because I already had the S3 and Apple watch together earlier and like them for different reasons

Galaxy watch+Note 9, Apple watch+iPhone, Pixel watch+Pixel 3 (that was the plan until reports that Pixel watch is no go this year so got to find another for the pixel 3 later this year), is my combo.

I just switched from Apple to the Note 9 and Galaxy Watch 46mm. Liked the Apple watch a lot, Galaxy is growing on me. I wish there were more apps for the watch, kinda think staying with Tizen was a bad decision on Samsungs part. Does anyone know why the watch always sends you back to the phone to respond to alerts? For example, the ring video doorbell alerts say snooze or ignore on the screen and then force you back to the phone to select the snooze time...

Yeah I am really in a bind since no Pixel Watch. It actually crushed me lol. I want a LTE watch so bad but there really are no good Wear OS LTE Watches except maybe the Galaxy one... which no doubt will be good but would work best with a Samsung phone versus something like my Pixel.

I then would like an Apple Watch but I am heavy into Google so while you can make Google work on iPhone it doesn't as well as it does on Android plus I would lose some things like texting from my PC via Pulse SMS since you can't do that on Apple.

Always trade offs. UGHHH :(.

Yeah let's see Qualcomm has an event on September 10th related to their next watch SOC and hopefully we get more better options in the holidays.

Yeah. My one big gripe about iPhone that holds me back is I would set some reminders and such via my Google Homes and some would sync to the iPhone and some wouldn't. That is a big thing for me.

But I digress. For those of you getting the Galaxy watch to pair w/ your Note I think you will love it. It should be a match made in heaven like iWatch/iPhone :P.

I used my S3 Frontier with no issues on my Pixel 2XL. Even Samsung Pay works with the Pixel.

Got a 46mm on Sunday at TMobile. Wow, I've had an Apple watch before but this thing makes the Apple watch seem like a POS. I love this thing, haven't charged it since Sunday, I've been sleep tracking and testing the auto workout function. Really enjoying it so far
I agree, but not just that, but how much more masculine and impressive does the Galaxy Watch look compared to the apple watch? The 46mm case is perfect for guys.

Had mine for a week now. really used to military style watches with big thick bands. however the functionality of this watch makes up for it. you're not going to get 4 days or maybe I just use the watch too much I averaged about two and a half 3 days. does anyone know where you can get wider bands for this understand the attachment point is 22 mm

As I understand it, you can use any 22mm watch band

yup, practically any 22mm watch band will work. I would recommend getting ones with a quick release pin to make swapping bands tool free and easy.

Anybody ever use the Gear line (now Galaxy I suppose..) and also a gear fit (or any tracker I suppose)? Meaning, if I wear the fit to work and then the Galaxy watch after work would they both sync to S health to give me a picture of my day?

Can you take a few photos of it on here sharing the screens etc? I'd be interested in it and like to see some real world photos and positive reviews

I'm currently using a Garmin Forerunner 645 as a smartwatch, and it works reasonably well, but I think the Galaxy Watch would be better.

Has anyone used the Galaxy Watch with WhatsApp? I've read elsewhere that WhatsApp notifications are a bit wonky on the Watch - specifically, that only the most-recently received notification is viewable. I frequently get a quick burst of notifications from my wife or daughter and I would prefer to see all of them without pulling out my phone in the middle of a meeting.

Also get the wireless charger as a freebie

??? The wireless charger is included. How else would you charge the watch? If you were expecting a freebie, I sure wouldn't expect a required accessory to be the freebie.

Does pretty good so far. Have a family thread on WhatsApp and I get notifications and pictures from everyone quickly

My comments exactly. I need to change my battery as well. No mst seems like a step back. My 2¢.

If I could get samsung pay to stay on my s3 classic, I'd say it was a step back. I finally gave up on it.

I just got mine in December, so I'm waiting and will look at the next one of its not a Sport edition. Maybe. I also like it for notifications, weather (which I thought was going away), steps counter, quick phone calls, X-ing out spam calls, news notification I have set up, count my squats and get a "good job" for doing 30, etc. I sometimes will check the time. I have 2 games, Snake and a Tretris type one.

It's the wireless charger duo. Normally £89

Ordered my 46mm Black Silver Non LTE Direct from Samsung UK, due to ship on the 6th, cant wait, also theyre giving me the new phone/watch Charge Dock for free
I would definitely buy if I'm getting the phone/ watch charge dock for free in the US, currently rocking s3 frontier.

Here's the watch faces that it comes with, there's a ton more in the store. I'll take some pics of the actual watch.
