afazel, I think you have a valid point. This just adds to Tizen's ability to gain traction in an Android/iOS dominated market. I think I'm wrong, but even if Android is open source, there's still some rules that Google enforces and it may make your point a little harder to materialize. I would actually go ahead and license the use of the Google Play Apps from Google and slowly build up your own market, if Google allows it. But a great point nevertheless...The difference between Windows and Android being that Android is made up from a bunch of open source bits. Samsung can stick Dalvik libraries into Tizen so that it can run Android apps and use that as a big selling point.
