Hadn't seen this posted, so sorry if it's a dupe. Samsung overs a trade in program for up to a $300 check for your old phone. Sure you could probably do better on eBay/ Craigslist but for those who don't want to bother with that, it might be a good deal. I haven't read the fine print or attempted the process so no promises.

Yeah, they offered me $40 for my OG Epic. I think I'll just hang on to it as a back-up phone.

BestBuy is offering 85 for mine they are only offering 50. Not a hard choice lol. Looks like you should check all three before you decide.

Thanks for the information. I put in my information on the Galaxy Note for fun to see what I'd get, and they offered $275.

No desire to trade, but it's nice to know that people have options.

Galaxy Note! Phone. Tablet. Planner. Notepad. eReader. The only device I need!

I tried this program and sent in my old phone almost a month ago, but they still have not confirmed receiving it. I have sent several emails, with no response. I am beginning to think this is a scam. Has anyone used it before? I would love to hear about your experience. Thanks in advance!

Try "liking" Samsung on Facebook, and ask the question there. Publicity often gets quicker answers. If you're on twitter, you could tweet it, too. Many large companies scan twitter for negative comments about their company, and respond quickly.
