Samsunh galaxy note pro 12.2

The white battery connector on this broken tablet I was given completely broke off from the board where it was soldered. My plan was to solder jumper wires to the board contact than solder those wires to the existing wires but 2 points on the board are completely black and won't accept solder.

Have you tried sanding off some of the terminal top to see if it exposes metal? If not, the whole terminal might be gone and it's no longer connecting to anything...
