I just bought the 64gb class 6 that is on sale today only at BB for $49!!!

Couldnt pass it up even though I ordered a 32gb S3...Never have enough room for all my p*rn, as my wife would say!

Re: Today ONLY! Sandisk 64 GB microSD Card - $49.99

Where does it say that this deal is good for today only?

I have a Lexar class 10 32 gb card, and it glitched out for the first time the other day. The phone said to format it fix it. So I told it to go ahead and everything worked again. Strange.

Re: Today ONLY! Sandisk 64 GB microSD Card - $49.99

I bought one too, thanks for the post. I bought a 32gb class four last week for half that price but luckily I haven't opened it. So that will be getting returned in favor of this one. :)

Thanks for posting the link. I just bought it. Not sure if I'm getting the Sg3, but at least I'll have this lol. I do want the phone though.

damnit. sold out online :(

nooooooooooooooooo now the original price is 149.99

What is the recommended class quality to get? This sale at Best Buy was just for a class 6. Shouldn't we be looking for class 10?

Per industry standards, each class must meet the minimum read/write speeds:

Class 10 = 10 MB/s

Class 6 = 6 MB/s

All UHS-1 cards: 10 MB/s

I can't find any info that says the S3 is a UHS-1 compatible host, which means it would revert to the industry standard class ratings.

Theoretically the chances are greater that a class 6 card will be at higher risk of choppy HD recorded video.

That said, I doubt the video quality on this phone warrants a class 10, especially if Sandisks own benchmarks are what they say they are.
