Save jpeg Email Attachments

I have a new Thunderbolt & can not figure out how to save a jpg email attachment to my gallery or micro SD card. I had a Droid & it definitely does not work the same...with a long hold to Save. Thanks for any suggestions.

Yeah, it's kinda "transparent"...

Basically, you just click on the little attachment arrow in your email and see it downloading. After it is complete the arrow will turn into a paper-clip. At that point, you're done.

Look in your sdcard/download directory and you will find it there. Or, you can just open the "Gallery" and the Gallery will auto-magically find it for you. From there you can use it as wallpaper, or whatever.

With a utility from the Market like "Astro File Manager" you can easily move it around to any sdcard directory you like.

Same goes for ringtone email attachments, BTW.

Every once in a while I go into the download folder and clean it out.

Get K-9 free email manager. Works great. Save attachments and several other nice features right from the Menus.
