Saved Ringtones

Has anyone figured out how to add ringtones you have saved in Google Drive to the device so you can use them? I have them all saved from my Note 7 swap and cannot get to populate on the ringtone list.

On other Android phones (currently HTC 10) I use a file explorer of some kinda and look for OEM ringtones and then put the saved ringtone files in that folder.

I would have to suspect you need to move them from GDrive to your local phone directory structure.

Just plug your phone into the usb on your computer. Then transfer the ringtone to the ringtone folder. Don't open the folder just put the file in. Also file mgr works fine.

Yeah I tried that. After posting this I figured what was wrong. When I would select copy or move to the Pixel XL wasn't on my list of options, only download or Google Drive. With some fiddling around, I finally got the Pixel XL to disply in the copy to, move to and all is well now. Thanks,

Im having the exact same issue with my new phone. I have all the ringtones I want to keep saved on my google drive but am unable to move or copy these into my ringtone folder. Can anyone explain step by step what I need to do so that they will populate in my ringtone choices? Been trying to figure this out for awhile now and not having any luck. All of them are currently on my google drive and I just want to move them someplace like in the ringtone folder or wherever so they show up and I can select them.

If possible I would like to do this without emailing them or texting them or plugging into my Mac. The OP just mentioned "fiddling around, but did't elaborate on what exactly he did

Thanks

Did you figure out a way to do this without using usb? If so, please explain step by step. Thanks.
