Saving everything on my phone (apps, files, settings) for replacement?

Hi all, got a replacement phone for a broken phone and it's already giving me problems, so getting another replacement sent.

Is there a way to backup absolutely everything on my phone (apps, files, settings) and apply that to the new phone, so I don't have to download and set everything up again?

Welcome to the forums. Google saves some of your settings, but not all of them. App data...can be tricky. There are some apps like Helium that can back up app data, but it has been hit and miss with me. As for most other files, I usually drag on drop to my PC.

In your case with existing issues perhaps a clean install without recovery might be worth spending a day.
