Saving sms to sim card

On Android 6 I'm holding message then choosing option "save to sim" and getting error message "not saved" . The sim is not ful .

Welcome to the forums. The SMS may be larger than the storage capability of the SIM card. You could take a screenshot of the message. Then you can upload it to your preferred cloud service, or pull it off the phone to your PC.
