I will be leaving the S9+ for the new shiny
Note 9. Its a must for me as I've owned every note since the 2nd note. The S9+ has been great its the 1st galaxy phone Ive had since the Galaxy S7 only since I was forced to return my grenade of a note 7. Heres to hoping this 4000mah battery doesnt have any note 7 mistakes. Who is also moving to the Note 9???

I've only had my S9+ for a couple months now. While there are some cool features on the Note 9, there is nothing there that will make such a quick change of devices so imperative for me. Plus, there is that cost issue.
Now if I were to be given a Note 9, then my S9+ would immediately be relegated to backup phone status.

The Note 9 looks awesome, nice upgrades for sure however the price is turning me off, even with Jump from T mobile I'd have to put down $280. Currently on Note 8, I am actually considering going to the S9

Just got my S9+ for 2 weeks for free, such a great phone!

Note 9 looks great but at this point, can't justify the cost and the incremental gain.

I thought about the note 9, it's not much of an upgrade but it's enough to peak my interest.

apart for bigger battery and s pen it's the same phone as S9+ Iam too getting tempted just for bigger battery...but once the reviews are out will decide..using S9+ since March end...love the phone soo far..

Same here, plus I feel like the s10 is gonna be something I'd regret waiting for or having to trade for then.

The people who are thinking that upgrading from s9+ to note9 is a big deal should wait Note 10. I think only that one might be called an upgrade.

Do you think its worth making the switch from the S9+ to the Note 9 for only $45.00 I would have to pay the restocking fee for my S9+ plus 6.00 in difference for taxes, so technically $51.00 to make the switch.

I don't care about the Spen or I don't think I would. I love the screen size, although I am not sure how much I will really see from the current phone to the new Note.

Honestly whilst I have a note itch I am reluctant to give Samsung any more money until I see if they even bother trying with updates. With PT it should be easier to get P on the S9 and Note 9 quicker but I just suspect they do not care a jot and that P will not land until 2019.

With so many other manufacturers now seeming to smell the coffee on this one there will be more and more choice for people who want the latest android version.

As I was looking to replace my BlackBerry Priv (because BlackBerry stuck to two years of security updates and not a day more, with one exception) both Samsung and Pixel were on my list. One of the things that steered me to Pixel was Google's committment to security updates monthly for 3 years from launch date. The hardware is not as nice as the Samsung phones but that is a compromise I am willing to pay.

I couldn't hold out and bought the note 9, it's the same but better I don't k kw it's weird I definitely don't regret my decision though my pocket book might😭😭

If you use the spen (it is really neat) then go with the Note. I was a Note user and wanted the 9 but in my opinion they are asking too much money, this of course is different for everyone. My Note 8 was getting buggy and I honestly wanted a smaller device so I went to the s9
