SC2.9, Safe Mode loop overnight, now internal memory is full

I tried searching for some of this, but can't find anything.

I'm running SC2.9 with EB01 radio. This morning when I got up my phone was in a safe mode reboot loop from hell. I had to pull the battery to get it to boot back up normally. I've been running SC2.9 for about a month.

After I got it back up in normal mode I got a warning that my internal memory is nearly full. WTF happened? How can I tell what used up all of my memory and delete for some space?

I was thinking about upgrading to SC 2.9.2 and I see that DL09 may be a bit more stable than EB01. Should I start there and see what happens? I also have a problem with the phone just rebooting all by itself... usually when going into sleep. It never locks up like the SOD, but just reboots back to normal.

Thanks for your time. I may play with it a bit tonight and try to get it back to good again. I'm confident that an upgrade to 2.9.2 and DL09 will help, now I'm mainly concerned with what soaked up all of my internal memory.

The random reboots is a known bug having to do with the music controls on the 5 lock screens mod. That problem was corrected in 2.9.2, so going to 2.9.2 and trying a new modem should help with just about all your problems.

Do a TiB , then reflash a full package odin, meaning DI01 or unmodified EB01 then flash superclean and do a restore this should fix you up

Would the debloated/deodexed package work, like in your thread here? Do those packages have the latest CWM, or do I need to look at updating it as well if I flash the package?

EDIT: So I can't get the phone to connect to Odin? Removed battery, start Odin, hold VolUp and VolDn, plug phone into PC. I get nothing. I uninstalled/reinstalled drivers. ???

When to get into download mode, you only hold the volume down button after you plug your phone in. if the issue is still there I am sadly not sure but hope dxc or some onemore knowledgeable than I can help you.

Duh! Thank you, I'm not in the right mind this evening.

Sorry, but I'm not real sharp on this. Once I go back all the way to stock EB01, then I can follow the upgrade path back to rooted/deodexed/SC? Or are you saying go back to stock and stay there?

go back to stock and then you can do anything you want to do , redo the process you used originally to get to superclean if you want

Thanks for the help. I'm playing with it some more this morning. I had gotten back to SC2.9.2 last night and was doing a restore with TiB, but then got into a FC loop with gmail it seemed. So I just flashed back to stock again, now flashing to deodex/root/CWMall. At this point can I do a nandroid, and then if I have problems again just restore this point instead of flashing back to stock?

Yes you can. But there's been trouble restoring nandroid backups. As long as you don't have a theme in there with the ROM you should be ok. Also make sure when restoring your apps with TiBu you only use the option of missing apps with data.
