Are you making sure the resolution of the wallpaper matches the resolution of your phone?

I'm photoshop savvy, and made my own background..I set it at the dimensions of the other wallpapers which is 1160x960. It lets me select all of it in the cropping menu, but it still cuts off the other half of the picture.

I went back and checked with the wallpapers that already came on the phone, and sure enough, they were cut off as well.

So whats the deal with that? Is there any way to set the WHOLE picture as the background?

It seems like it would be simple...just create a wallpaper with the dimensions of the screen right? Well no. Because when you do that, and select "set as wallpaper" it brings you to the cropping menu with the orange box and doesn't even let you crop the whole image.

So any tips or advice? Thanks everyone!

The Vibrant's default wallpaper size is 960x800. The Wallpapers I make are 960x854 and perfectly fit the Motorola Droid. So when you go to use these wallpapers and you crop it to fit there will be 54 pixels of the image that get cut off. They'll still look perfectly fine on the Vibrant though. Just try and center the cropping box as best as you can.

Really nice wallpapers in the last couple pages.... wish I could see some of your earlier Wallpapers... just seeing a "bandwidth exceeded" message from Photobucket.

Yeah, I put a message about that in my signature. The bandwidth gets exceeded pretty fast on my Photobucket account. It will be back up tomorrow though. I have been meaning to go through and change all the links to my Picasa album because all of my pics are in both places... I just haven't had the time. You can see all my wallpapers at the link in my signature though.

I read through this entire thread and you make some really awesome wallpapers. The wall-e one was so sad but funny. Hopefully I'll be able to use some on my epic once I get it.

The Epic wallpaper size is 960x800 I believe. My wallpapers will fit just fine but it will cut off some pixels from the top or bottom depending on how you crop it when you're setting them. Thanks for the compliment!

OK, I had to completely recreate the logo because I couldn't find anything but tiny little icon sized images of the superuser icon. Hope this looks good
