Scratched phone screen... Well, this is the second time in a row that I accidentally dropped my phone on concrete floor. I will say the girl glass 6 on Pixel 5 is very durable, but I still got some light scratches in my screen. Really pissed off. I wanted to look into cheap screen replacements, but my wife was showing me that they're $350 online. I refuse to run a screen protector because it's to bulky of course. I'm going to try as Smitty's glass wax on my screen later, but it just kind of sucks. I will say that the phone is very durable overall, but it's still sucks. It is not mint condition anymore. It is not cracked though. Just lightly scraped.

Sorry to hear that. I've always run a glass screen protector and never noticed any bulkiness.

Yeah, that's what my wife suggests as well. I haven't run a screen protector in many many years. I always have found bulky they barely work etc etc. Unfortunately it's screen replacement is over $3 for phones. I mean I guess I'll have to quote unquote deal with it cuz I don't have a choice. I'll try the glass wax on my phone later, but I have my dad said I'll do anything at all. Yeah my phone screen is scratched twice. Sucks.

I'm so sorry that happened to you!

ha, thanks yeah dude. It sucked bigtime. I mean, I will say that the Gorilla Glass 6 screen on my Pixel 5 is strong and durable, but it's still really sucks.. That's for sure!

Haha I know, thanks. I just don't like the feel of them. After I've calmed down a bit, I've realized that the screen is just scratched up a little bit. The gorilla glass 6 screen is definitely strong and durable.

Yes fortunately it did it’s job …keep it safe man …

I purchased my Note 20 pre-scratched, left side, and one down where the keyboard comes up. I quickly decided that the scratches were annoying to feel, and bought a pack of Tocol Glass screen and camera lens protectors. I once had an S4 the store folks had put a glass screen protector on, and this was no disappointment. Nice beveled edges and smooth glass, no bulk. No longer have to feel those scratches. I can even use the fingerprint reader. These phones are just too expensive to risk naked.

I get why you're upset though! My screen protector has a few scratches and I'm mad about that too! LOOL. We baby our phones!

Haha, yeah dude you're absolutely right! We're not rough with our phones me baby them we take great care of their phones etc etc. It was a mistake obviously that I dropped it on concrete. In general though I will say that our phones are very durable. Not being made out of glass on the backside I really does help. And yeah the gorilla Glass 6 screen it's very durable. I will say that. Yeah, it sucks, but nothing I can do about it. Thanks for the support though lol.

Yeah, I like that the Note 20 doesn't have the glass back, either. But, I also have a sturdy case, regardless. Good thing I did, too, when I was working on the car, I dropped my phone onto. The concrete a couple of times. That $20 case was a lot better than any insurance claim! But I can dig hating the scratches.

While I understand there's nothing nicer than utilizing a phone in its "naked" state, now more than ever I would recommend you purchase a tempered glass screen protector. Considering your device only had some light scratches, the good thing about a tempered glass protector is that it sort of "erases" those scratches because of the second layer of glass on top and honestly it's not that bulky. Maybe give it a shot! They are pretty inexpensive and there's multiple options on Amazon.
