Scratched up Tab S 8.4 or Pristine Tab Pro 8.4

I picked up a used Tab 2 8.4 a couple of weeks ago locally, it is a bit beat up physically (minor screen scratches, case scratches and a small chip on bottom right). It works great though (for $100 I couldn't resist).

However, it being a bit beat up physically has me considering buying a used pristine Pro 8.4 locally. I am sure I can sell my current one for between $120-$150 pretty easily, so, it would only cost me $30-40 to make the switch.

The question is, would it be a significant downgrade? From what I could find, I know it would have 1GB less ram and not a Amoled display but it seems the display is still very good and the CPU benchmarks is actually higher for the pro, especially when not using videos.

My big concern is the battery difference (although it seems to not be as big of an issue if not watching videos, which I won't be).

Thoughts on making this switch? If it was you, would you?

Thanks

What do you think about the battery life? And do you know if they are replaceable in the Pro 8.4?

Thanks

Now do you have a tab S or a tab 2? I have had both of them, and by far the tab S is way better. Your title says tab S but your story says tab 2. Sorry for the rant!

It was a tab s. I ended up selling it and just picking up the Tab Pro. Glad I did, I like the Tab Pro a lot.
