Scratches already?

I know, it's kinda nuts that even a piece of grit can do work on the screen. That's why I have my trusty sock with me at all times .

Sena cases makes a nice, custom leather sleeve with a pull tab that lifts the Nexus out. It is leather on he outside and has a soft lining on the inside that protects the screen. It fits perfectly and covers the phone completely. I always order a Sena case with every new phone and have never had a scratch on any of them. You could even use it with a screen protector if you want. It is similar to the Palm Pre OEM case except that it is vertical instead of horizontal. Not a single scratch on my GN....yet anyhoo.
Yup I use a screen protector, never thought about a sock/sleeve ,but can see where that would work or add an extra layer of protection with screen protector already applied.

I would say this thing scratches very easily. I've owned 3 Motorola devices and those screens are tough. The sexy Nexi seems to scratch very easily. Great phone otherwise.

I usually sell my phones when I upgrade, but this one has taken beating and I will probably keep it to play with when I upgrade in the next few months.

I never understood how people could not use a screen protector and get surprised when your device gets a scratch. With the cost of these devices what's a few extra bucks to protect the screen? I have always put a screen protector on my smartphones, you never know what could be floating around in your pocket. I guess I can see if you never needed one before with past devices, but me personally I wouldn't go without one, even if I did have gorilla glass.
