Scratches on home button?!

I have minor scratches on mine but I only noticed them after I cleaned my phone with tissue or a napkin made of a rough material. Mine are not even close to how your old phone looked. In the future, clean the button with a soft cloth to avoid the scratches. That looked like you wiped the phone with a rough material while cleaning it. Maybe you rubbed it against your jeans to clean it (I do this often) or used something that wasn't smooth. Glad they replaced it but follow my advice to avoid the same issue again.

Great tip. I use the same disposable lens wipe.
