Hey there guys, first post, long time reader.
I was at the ATT store today debating on whether or not to return my "meh" quality HTC one with a ONE that has a flushed screen at the top speaker grill. My didn't.
I was comparing my phone to the display ones and I noticed that even when I had the exact same display settings and power saver off, my phone had a brighter screen, more vibrant. The reds popped out, the black's looked blacker and the whites whiter. it just simpler looked brighter and better. It's as if I got to pull the brightness bar a liittle bit more further to the right than allowed.
I asked an employee and he told me that the batch my phone was in, HTC may have went to a different supplier for the screen and it just so turned out better. He said he used to work at a television screen company or something and they used to do bids blah blah blah, idk. I don't know if it's BS or not but he said he liked the screen on my HTC one than both the silver and black models that were there.
I haven't installed any apps or change or anything
So should I just not question it and keep my phone, which will save me $35 dollar restock fee and live with my not flushed screen that I may not care or notice in a month or two?
Maybe my eyes are foolin me!
