screen brightness dimmer after only 5 weeks

Ive noticed the brightness of my phone has dropped at least 25% since launch. I use to have to turn my phone down at night because it was so bright, now even at full brightness it seems the same as it did at half. Also, I compared it to my moms samsung conquerer and my old epic 4g and they are both considerably brighter. This is definitely concerning me as its only been a few weeks. Anyone else experience this? What's verizons return policy on exchanges for same phone?

Exchange policy I believe is 14 days from purchase for a brand new one, after that you have to go through their re-certified process, but dont quote me on that.

As for your actual problem, maybe an app on your phone somewhere causing this? I keep my phone set on auto brightness all the time, but if i turn it to full its still so bright that it almost hurts my eyes.

Could always try a factory reset, prolly wont fix it but its worth a shot at least.
