Screen brightness malfunction?

I believe my phone isn't outputting brightness as high as it should. When compared to my note 5 it looks dim. I made a post about this like a week ago and now I'm seeing videos and also articles stating that the s7 is brighter than the note 5. I feel like somehow my screen brightness isn't working like it should if that's the case. Is there any way somebody here can check to see their comparisons side by side?
