Screen broken upon arrival

You're welcome to think what you want but have you ever been in the UPS/FedEx warehouses? We aren't talking about a simple table drop that can occur .

That's what I'm saying though. For the kind of shock you're talking about, there would be other damage. POLED is designed to withstand shock. Anything that could damage it would damage the glass or frame too.

Withstand doesn't mean it can handle every case though. My mom dropped her iPhone. No damage to the case or glass but lines went all through her screen. I had to take it to Apple because it would light up but wouldn't respond to touch. Stuff inside the phone disconnected due the impact and she dropped it from normal height.

Something being able to "withstand" isn't 100%.

Again though, with the damage that display is showing, if it was truly caused by the delivery then it would also have physical damage.

I definitely disagree as I said I've seen damage to screens without physical damage to the phone. So we can agree to disagree.

POLED screens are built to withstand drops and other abuse. This wouldn't have been caused by a drop.

Given the amount of variables in screen damage from drops, this could have been caused by either of what you two are describing. There's no way of knowing and one isn't extremely more plausible than the other.
