screen burn in

I just checked my XL screen. I'm seeing the bottom navigation buttons. I've had this device for 3 weeks or so.

Is the screen burn in still a thing? Or is this temporary?

it's always a thing with amoled . try turning it off let it sit for a bit then turn it back on. If they are still there it's burn in
