Screen Capture after 4.4.2. update

Hi, I have just upgraded my stock s3 to the 4.4.2. update a few hours ago...
Now I tried holding down power key + middle button key to take a screenshot to send to a friend but cannot seem to take a screen capture after the update..
any ideas please? (preferably not motion or smart gesture, cause I have that 100% disabled at all times.)

In KitKat, you have to hold down the power button + volume down for most phones. For the S3, I do believe it is power button + home button. If neither is working, you may have a bigger problem.

oh I tried it again just now and it works ...
Hmm.. maybe it was just that app that did not let me screenshot earlier....
