Hey guys!

First post here, from a man in need.

A friend of mine managed to drop my phone yesterday (I know right... I should have dropped them instead) and cracked the screen, rendering the phone useless (from a touch perspective). I'm going to call my insurance who should cover the fix however i'm getting message alerts and sms's on the phone and would love to read them, also I would like to keep all my settings and apps and not have to reinstall everything.

So my questions are:

- What options do I have to backup the phone without a touch screen?
- Can i connect my phone up to my computer and use it remotely?

Any help would be amazing!

Thanks

Sam

Depends if you have a pin/password on your phone. If you dont then you should have access to your storage when connecting it to the computer.

Yeah i dont, so is the storage everything? Can i just copy that and paste it on the replacement phone and everything should work?

That's everything except your app data and SMS messages unfortunately. That is kept at system level which can't be accessed through your computer
