Is it me or is the screen display a huge improvement over the fold 3. It seems more crisp, brighter colors.

Since I purchased the Fold 4 (had the Fold 2), my plan is to wait for the 6th generation. But I’m curious what will be improvements you are looking forward to?

Doubt the camera system will see any huge improvement (fold 2 and 3 had same cameras) and I don’t see any drastic design changes coming… since this is the first visual change they did between the Fold 2 and 3 (same outer screen).

Only improvements I see in the roadmap for next gen is reducing the crease and adding the S-Pen slot.

Yeah, I don’t think we will get that camera zoom like S22U for 5th generation.. but I could be wrong.

But I am looking forward to the S-Pen slot.

Yes, but I’m only going off Samsung short history with foldables. They normally maintain flag ship camera tech for the S Series. If anything I’ll see S23/S23 Plus gets S22U zoom camera.

Like the s22u and s22+ didn't get the s22u telephoto 100x so I wouldn't think the s23 and s23+ would get that type of zoom , that's reserved for Ultra exclusively I think .

True. And that certainly proves my point. Samsung wouldn’t put that type of camera tech in the foldables… at least not for the 5th generation Fold. I think Samsung wants to refine it. Remove all the annoyances with it such as improving on the UDC and eliminating the crease.

But I’m really hoping Samsung do better with the outer front display camera… they have yet to improve on it, which is a shame. 4 generation into the Fold series and they haven’t upgraded the camera system on the outer front display.

Good points but to me it's what they want for future is foldable and what better way to showcase it and put the best of the best onboard, I think they don't concentrate on outer front camera because you can use the rear cameras but I'm with you on that also , I like improvements across the board , we shall see . But main thing is getting that spen in the device for me .

• Wider outside screen again (thanks to wider phone due to S Pen slot) but only like 3-5mm.
• S Pen usable on cover screen
• Cameras to match the S23 and S23 plus, but not S23U with its' 200mp and telescopic lens.
• 4600mah battery
• IR blaster

Also think Samsung will unveil a new phone called the Z Scroll with a scrollable screen like the one they showed early this year at CES (I think?).

Lol, IR blaster. While I was reading your list and read IR blaster I glanced up to see if this post was by flossy.

The fold will see most your list, but I feel Samsung has learned apples trick, small improvements at a time to sell phones in the future.
