Screen is always on

I have a strange problem, I have a gs-7 on AT&T and I just reinstalled this phone about 2 weeks ago and I got a very strange problem now.

The screen will not turn off when I leave it alone, it just stays on and the screen does not power down.

Example, if I have a web browser Page open and I leave the phone alone and come back in five minutes, the screen is still on in the browser Pages still there. Does anybody know anything about a screen that doesn't go to sleep?

First things first -- what's your screen timeout set to?

Also, does this only happen when it's plugged in and charging, or any time?

1 minute time out. I only noticed when it was not charging.

Is Smart Stay turned on? If so, try turning it off. Also, see if it happens in Safe Mode as well: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-28008
