Screen Issues during calls after 5.1 upgrade

During calls my screen goes black and I cannot access the menus (Loud Speaker, Dial Keypad, End Call) all seems to have started since I upgraded 5.1. Any ideas guys? Many thanks. Bruce

Do you have a screen protector on it? Some people have reported that being the cause.
