screen lock question

I have lollipop and I have a question about the lock screen. I added a pattern password, but now it won't let me select back to "none" or "swipe" unlock. What's the deal? Any help?

I'm not on 5.0. I can guess what's happening though. You selected pattern unlock, entered your pattern twice, and now you want to switch back.

When you select none or swipe to unlock - are you prompted to enter a pattern? If so, this is security at work. Just enter your pattern (to prove that it's you and not someone trying to hack into your phone) and you should be able to switch back.

If something else is happening, then I can't help you - but hopefully someone with hands-on experience can help you.

Go to the lock settings.. Select none, then power off phone. When you restart.. It might stick.
