Screen off and lock sound issue?

Didn't really know where else to post this. I couldn't find an answer elsewhere so I figured this would be the best place to ask.

I'm using Nova and have installed Screen off and lock to get my double tap to sleep back. The problem however is, I've disabled the sounds inside the app, but still hear the clicking noise when I lock my phone. I have lock noise enabled on my G4.
(you only hear the noise when unlocking the phone on stock launcher). That's what I want using Nova.


Is there a reason it's not overriding it?

Try in settings - sounds & notifications - other sounds - screen locking sounds - switch it off.

If the settings are different in your phone you could use the search bar in the settings to find locking sound.

That's what I'm using. The stock launcher uses the sound ONLY when unlocking the device. Using Nova + SOAL causes a sound to be played every time I double tap to sleep. I've disabled sounds inside the SOAL app, but it has no effect. I want the lock sound to play every time I unlock the device, but not when I sleep it.
