Screen off memo text color

So I use the screen off memo very often for work. And unfortunately now, with this yellow text on the memo, going to read the notes back is incredibly difficult because of the yellow writing and white background.

Is there no way to get the text automatically convert to black when viewed in s notes?

You can totally disable that. Go to Settings, Advanced Features, S Pen, Screen off Memo and turn off 'Use S Pen signature color' (that matches your pen color to the screen off memo). Or you could try changing your default note background color if you want to keep the yellow ink (that one I'm not sure if possible, I stopped using Samsung Notes since they stripped it down to a basic notepad).
