Screen on. When charging

So it's just started to happen that my SG8+ had taken to it's screen staying on when being charged. The screensaver photo is shown with zero widgets or text. I've tried restarting the phone to no avail. Phone also had an OTA update yesterday but the problem remains. Thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

There is a setting for that in developer options.

My stay wake button has always been off.

Damn, i've got the same issue over here. i'm using the Samsung Galaxy s7 and my phone stays on each night i guess. If I wake up I see notifications from like 3 hours ago. Anybody suggestions?
