Even if I didn't use a matte screen protector for reasons other than just protecting the screen I would still use one. Gorilla Glass or not. Sand scratches all kinds of glass.

But this isn't a thread to discuss whether or not to use one. This is a thread to recommend good ones.

I just broke mine today (thanks for the jinks.)
The Optimus 2X has Gorilla glass; the G2X does not.

Now I gotta get this darn thing fixed!!! My advice get a good case and protector quick!

That's incorrect. The G2X has gorilla glass.

Gorilla Glass is not indestructible. Hence my desire for a screen protector (these T-Mobile ones aren't that great).

I haaaaaaaate the t-mobile ones with a passion. They create this annoying lip with their edges, and it ruins the smooth feel.

I might just try out a few different ones. Get the Skinomi and Clarivue ones and see how they do.

I heard the Phantom Skinz covers the screen edge to edge. I just put in an order for one today.

Ok, I guess you know more about the phone than LG does. Good luck finding a smartphone with a screen that's drop proof.

The one I am using is from GlobalDirectParts. I think it is good.

I use the Zagg wet skin. I don't think you can get better then a self healing material. I ran a box cutter over it and it's good as new. Only thing, it DOES create a bit of resistance when I try and scroll. Keep it clean and it should be fine.
