Screen replacement not fully functional

Hi everbody,

I recently tried to repair a HTC Desire 626 screen, this worked or so i thought.
I didn't have glue to glue the screen stuck but i had the feeling it would work nevertheless.

The problem now is that it doesn't register half of the times i touch it. Is this a fault of not having any glue or a connecter not doing it's job? I reconnected everything just to be sure. Or is it just a malfunctioning screen?

Those uncertainties are one of the problems of DIY repairs.
Did you replace the whole display, or just the front glass? Was the non-existent glue for the glass, or the whole display assembly?
