screen replacement not working

[AC Question]

Hi all,
Replaced the screen on my kids samsung tab3. The reason for this was and is when the tab3 is powered on there is nothing blank screen with what i can only describe as a glow behind the screen. I presumed this is the back light. Troubleshooting i have done is to check the digitizer cable and ensure it was connected properly. Checked the new screen in a known working tab and works fine. I guess my question is where do i go next what is the troubleshooting guide after replacement.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

It could be the graphics chip could be bad on the tablet.
