Screen resolution compared it iPad2

I just got an iPad2 today. The screen resolution is markedly less clear than the Samsung Galaxy SII Epic 4G Touch. Is this normal? Is it my screen protector?

Thought it would be better to ask here than in an iPad forum where they may not know how awesome the Galaxy screen is.

Anybody with both devices able to let me know if this is normal?

The colors on my Galaxy S2 pop a whole lot more than the ipad2 I got last week. Sure the iPad2 looks real nice but it does feel muted compared to the Epic 4G S2. Screen protectors have been known to blur the iPad 2. I have no protector on mine.

I don't have a screen protector on my iPad either..it's not just you. I just got the Epic Touch and I'm in love with the screen, plus I love android.

Just goes to show that for some people, Super Amoled Plus > PPI.

It's definitely less clear because the PPI is much lower on the iPad 2 than on the Epic Touch. I bought a touchpad a few months ago and it has the same resolution as the iPad 1, 2 and it's much less dense.

A better comparison might be the iPad 3 or 4...
