Screen rotation for home screens?

Go Launcher EX looks pretty interesting, thanks for the tip.

I don't have time to try it out during the week, but I'll be making it my weekend project. While I'm happy with TouchWiz, I don't mind experimenting as you never know what you're missing out on if you don't try.

Happens with ultimate and adaptive apps mentioned in this thread.

That doesn't happen for me while using ultimate rotation control, it is still working flawlessly for me. You obviously have something set differently than I do which is proven by the fact that the little symbol in the upper left hand corner of your screen does not look the same as mine.

I think I see what is happening here. Your dock is on the right but those of use who have the icons cut off do not have the dock on screen. I believe the difference is landscape and forced landscap setting. Maybe, maybe not. Im not gonna test it as ive got my launcher set up just the way i like it.

That's because it's not Ultimate it's Adaptive app I'm using in the example above, however it occurs on both apps.

Also worth noting that screenshot is NOT my homescreen. The homescreen rotates fine. That screen is the app drawer.

Check your app drawer and rotate, see what happens.

I think the main problem is people are confusing homescreen with the apps folder / drawer. Homescreen works fine it's the app drawer that cuts off a row of icons.

You can fix that by putting you're app's into list mode.

Now tap 'apps' to open your app drawer and see what happens in landscape.

Ultimate rotation works flawlessly for me no matter what Page I'm on. Here's my apps drawer.

I just downloaded Ultimate Rotation and it does cut off the 5th row on my Note II. PittiesRule, maybe you have an older version of Ultimate Rotation that works? I have tried all sort of settings and doesn't matter how I set it, it still cut off the 5th row. Why does it have a 5th row when Portrait mode only has 4?

I don't wish to replace my launcher.

No Problem but just for you to know, with Nova if you don't make any changes you will hardly notice the difference. I don't do messaging and have heard some people have had some issues there and then there is the Buddy Screen but there are ASFIK work arounds for those.

Hey try the different modes of landscape. I believe one is forced auto, auto lanscape and landscape. Do any these make it so the icons arent cut off?
