Screen shot I have a Screenshot

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 on Verizon. The screenshot function of holding down the volume and power keys, do not work. What else should I try?

Go into settings then find motions and gestures and use the palm swipe option. Its pretty nice

Verizon doesn't include the palm swipe option?? Its so much easier......

I have the palm swipe gesture in settings. It's still doesn't work. I think the problem is with my hand.

Sometimes it works on the first try & other times it can take several swipes. I also think (but don't know) that the light you are in affects it. I move the camera around.
