Can anyone tell me how to take a screen shot with my HTC One S?

While holding down the power button on top, press the "home" button

Thanks. This also works for HTC Desire S !! (2.3.5). At Play there are no free apps for screenshot (non-rooted). Thanks a lot !!

Also you could try pressing the volume down button while holding the power button down. This is the method in ICS. The advantage is that it'll put your screenshots in a separate folder
