[Android Central Question]

lg v20 will not take screen shots without a screenshot app like EASY SCREENSHOT....my wifes phone power button is messed up to where it rarely takes screen shots now, even with an app.....added the CAPTURED+ to home button screen on mine to see how it works..its alot slower to use but ya can doodle on screen with options to erase, change pen color sizes and etc... and save to either memo or galary....was working fine but her phone acts up a lil from time to time cause it gets used quiet a bit.......havent had them a year yet...May will be a year..2018.....power button is ok, but like it to be somewhere else or easier to turn phone on without the clicking or sticking sounds they make...maybe need to clean with alcohol and qtip ...any ideas whats wrong with lg v20???? other people having similar issues on other places on the net, with no definate response to solve everybodys problem.....!?!?!

Do you only have a problem with screenshots, or are there other problems? Not to sound mean, but your post seemed to go off on tangents and is hard to follow.

For the screenshots, I generally use Capture+ as one of my quick shortcuts on the secondary screen. Using the power + volume down combination should work, but sometimes it's easy to accidentally press both volume buttons and not just the volume down button. Some cases may make this more or less prone to happening. So just make sure you are not pressing both volume buttons accidently.

I always press the home button and volume down button at the same time, it might be tricky for some people. Alternatively, you can drag down the notification bar and look for capture+ and it should capture a screenshot. You can also settings > display > home touch buttons > button combination and add the capture+ shortcut.

You mean power button? Holding the home button activates Google Now if you have that setup.
