Anybody know how to turn off the 30 second screen sleep when watching a video? It's pretty annoying to have to keep touching the screen to keep it on. I searched through the display options and didn't find anything.

Thanks!

What app are you using to watch a video? The ones that come with the device should know enough to keep the screen awake. If it's a 3rd party video player, it may be a fault with the programming. If you're using one of the preinstalled apps, then do you have some other app installed that controls the screen, like a battery-saving app?

look for the "Smart Stay" apps in the Play store...they're copies of the useful Samsung S3 feature....

That's odd. I use MX player and a few other third-party players and they all keep the screen on while playing.

I use spalshtop to stream videos from my PC to my Nexus 7 so I have to use an app from the play store to keep it awake.

There was a FB update that just hit a day or two ago. But I haven't experienced that problem.

it's same issue for my Redmi 3 because I deleted absurd folder
You would be better served by looking for a Redmi forum; those of us on this device don't have an 'absurd' folder, nor any idea why deleting it would cause the behavior you are complaining about.

Oh, and welcome to the forums.
