Screen Time Out Question

I do NOT have AOD on. But I set screen time out for 30 seconds. But when I turn my wrist to see time, it times out after I'd say 5 to 10 seconds.

How do I make the watch face stay on longer?

I should note, this is my first Smart Watch. I've only had it since Sunday. Although I'm a woman, I chose the 44mm for the watch face real estate over the 40mm, and figured I can change out the band to "pretty it up".

Where are some of your favorite places to buy cool watch bands?
