Screen timeout

Other phones have an option to set the screen timeout to never. Yeah, I know that's crazy, especially with all the battery issues being addressed here. However, in this case, when I have the phone plugged in, there are instances that I would like to have the screen on at all times. I see that the Infuse does not have an option to "never sleep" in the screen timeout setting. Is there an app that could tweak that?

i dont have an answer to your question, but that is one thing i love with the car mount/charger combo, screen is always on.

Try setting it to 10 minutes and make sure it still charges with the screen on. I know even if it's plugged in, if I'm using the phone it still discharges.

I know there is a demo mode accessible on this phone.. I Do not know the way to enable or disable it. If you go to an at&t store or best buy with a working Infuse on display. If on demo mod it will display a special screen showing the infuse features. Once i made it past the short demo i went hto settings, screen time out and nothing was checked for time. I asked the guy at best buy about it and he said the rep set it up to do that. I also noticed that the wifi signal seemed stronger as if it was getting slightly more juice. I confirmed this on three different infuses in three different stores.

Do you have a link to this mount/charger combo? I was looking online but some clearly state they don't charge the phone and others are vague.

sorry, that came out wrong. they arent together. they are two separate things and then used together. the mount is the samsung one for the infuse. Samsung Infuse

you have many choices on the charger. look for that special though.

After 3 searches in the Android Market, I struck gold. I found the app I was looking for. Screen On Toggler does the job beautifully! Just what I needed.
