Screen too Dark.

So I have had my N7 for a few months, and I love it. Except when I am in a well lit room or outside. If I am trying to watch Dexter or anything else I have downloaded to it, the screen is so dark I cannot see a thing. It seems to only be movies or shows I have downloaded that are like this, if I watch something I have gotten off the play store it is visible . I have my screen brightness set on Solar high and I cannot see a thing if the room is not almost dark. HELP PLEASE. Also has anyone found a good anti glare screen protector for the N7? I think the combination of screen glare and the dark screen is lethal to my viewing pleasure!

Do you have auto brightness on? That could make the brightness change in different variations of light.

What are you using to view your videos? If it's a third party app like MX Player, it probably has its own brightness controls, separate from the system controls. Try dragging you're finger up or down along the left or right side of the screen while the video is playing. One side is volume, the other is brightness.
