I am so annoyed that everytime I pull my phone out of my pocket something is on the screen whether it's Bluetooth being turned off or call being answered. I have the setting to keep screen off in Dark Places set to on but it doesn't seem to be working any ideas?
Thanks

The call being answered could be due to the phone shortcut at the bottom. I've turned mine off, under Settings > Lock Screen and Security > App Shortcuts. You could try that for a bit and see if it helps.

I'm not sure how the BT would be deactivated from the lock screen, unless you replaced the Camera shortcut with the BT shortcut.

Yeah, it's a real problem. Yesterday it opened my Chamberlain garage door app and proceeded to open my garage door. It was a shocker. I installed the LOCX program so that a password is now required to get into the Chamberlain program. But I shouldn't need that.

I'm trying the "Gravity" app to see if it will keep my screen off. Hopefully it works better than the Samsung software.

Crazy .. I have never had a phone just unlock in my pocket. :-x

Honestly, neither have I. The lock screen highlights sometimes but that only because i accidently hit the power button every now and then taking my phone out of my pocket. Sorry to hear tha tyou're having this problem. :'(

I think that a couple of things are happening with your phone, you may have the Smart lock activated and that it's keeping your phone "Unlocked", that or you have set your Screen Timeout (Display Settings) to a very long time and/or your Secure lock settings (Lock screen and security) are also set to a long time and it keeps unlocked and then something on your pocket is doing the other part, long pressing the home button or pressing the power button and then somehow it unlocks with some kind of unintentional swipe action.

I know is a long shot but as you should know this doesn't sound right and somehow is obviously causing it, so at least try the above settings and see if one or a combination of a couple of them is causing the perfect scenario for this to occur.
