Screen vertical line

A thin faint vertical green line has appeared about 1/2 from the left side of the screen and is visible on every screen . It is still under warranty but was wondering if this could be a software problem and if it can be fixed by a factory reset. Have looked for similar problems with note 10.1 2014 but no joy.

Welcome.

It sounds to me more like a hardware problem with the display. You'll have to Factory Reset anyway before having it repaired, so you might as well try that, although I doubt that it will fix it. But if it does, please let us know.
Let us know also if you need any advice on backing up and resetting.

Just an update on the vertical green line for anyone having the same problem. The repair was a new LCD screen. Thankfully this was under warranty.
