It seems something off .Argh...nothing still! Maybe my new phone is defective?
Ok thanks for that.Brand new from Verizon..literally just got it on Thursday and haven't really done much to it. Did Smart Switch with old phone to get contacts and some pics. But not much else. Added like 3 other apps, created internet bookmarks and have spent the rest of the time trying to get basic notifications to work.

Earlier today I tried the reset settings and still the same thing happened (or didn't happen I should say) I might try a Verizon store and see if they can help. It's so frustrating when the phone can't handle basic functions.
That's greatUpdate for you: I went to 2 Verizon stores this weekend and they basically said my brand new Galaxy S10 was defective. Would explain why Edge lighting was not working and the screen wake up wasn't working and other things as well. I was able to get a replacement and although I haven't gone back to set everything all back up yet, it appears to be working better than the other one. So, for that anyway, problem solved. Sometimes it really is just a defect unfortunately. I already had spent too much time trying to figure it out, so am happy for now with the replacement which is also an S10. Fingers crossed!
