Hey guys just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Whether I use knock knock or the physical button the screen shots off momentarily then turns right back on? Even more strange is that I feel it may be associated with the stock messenger application.

Same here.. And sorry for answering an old post. Whenever I want to shut off the display by the power button or gesture it shuts on again. I've to try it two - four times till display remains dark..

Had this happen to me this evening for the first time... When I try the knock on to put the phone back to sleep it will come back on in about a second. I check and close all open apps and still will not stay asleep. I have to reboot the phone for it to go back to normal.

What I did prior... I enabled my bluetooth on the G2, paired my phone with my cars MyFordTouch system, saw that text messaging looked possible through the Ford system so decided to test. I had a spare phone so I put the G2 to sleep, sent a test text to the phone. I heard the notification come through the G2 and I believe it woke the phone and actually went to home screen and through the Ford I heard the text notification and from there you can choose to pull up the text on screen or have the Ford system read the text to you.

When I noticed the phone was waken to home screen, I knocked-on to put the phone to sleep and when the screen turned off, it popped back on a second later. Every attempt it would pop back on after a second. That's when I decided to reboot after checking to apps running because there had to be something else running that would keep the phone from staying asleep.

I haven't repeated the test yet. First time I got a chance to pair a device with bluetooth and push a text through. Thought I'd check to see if anyone ran into something similar... I'm guessing some glitch when pushing a text to another device through bluetooth effecting lockscreen/wakelock?
