screen won't time out when on blue tooth

I am connected to a speaker via blue tooth and playing Pandora. When the music is playing my screen won't time out

From the Pandora app's home screen, tap Settings at the upper right, then Advanced. I think you have to check "Conserve battery" to allow the screen to turn off (or maybe uncheck it--the description of the option is a little unclear).

Just tested it. Make sure that box is checked.
