Is it true that on the one UI3.0/ Android 11 on the Galaxy s20 that there is no screenshot option in the recent apps menu like there is on the pixel? That would be very disappointing to me if Samsung omitted that feature of Android 11.

Thanks. I can't believe that is not a feature on the Galaxy phones with Android 11. Why in the world would they not include that?

Samsung can tweak it and leave it out .

I know that and apparently that is what they did. Why they did that is the question. That is one of the most useful and easy features found on Android 11. I can easily take a screenshot, edit it and share with one hand. I'd rather not have to use the power and volume down buttons to take the screenshot.

You also have palm swipe , hey Google take a screenshot, accessibility floating menu circle tap for screen shot

Or I could use smart select in the edge panel. I still think none of the options are as good as the screenshot option in the app switcher.

I like edge panel a little better than my Pixel and edit from screenshot

Most welcomed.. exactly perfect for Sammy phones

Yes I was planning on switching to the S21 plus from my Pixel 3 XL next month. But when I found out that the screenshot function was removed from the app switcher I was starting to have second thoughts.

Totally hear ya ...you want to have good functionality and especially with Samsung you would expect good option for multi tasking...what’s the last Samsung phone you have owned ? I expect the new one to tick plenty of boxes ...

The last Galaxy I had was the Galaxy S5 in 2014. Then in 2016 I switched to the original Pixel. And then to the Pixel 3 XL in 2018. I was not happy at all with the functionality of the Galaxy S4 but I know that Samsung has come a long way since that time especially with one UI.

Wow long time ...so much now I’ve noticed the big step up since the 10 series .. I’m usually with the Note series but plenty happy S series folks ...I’m on the Fold 2 now I can’t go back to normal phone lol

Have you ever used a pixel phone? I'm wondering if you did how you think they compared to the Galaxy.

I’ve had the Pixel 2 XL ..4 XL and now my backup 4a 5G...I do like stock phones but I personally take the options and customization of Samsung ..people say too much bloat ..I say use what you need to best suits you and I don’t see any hiccups ....I don’t use stock launchers on any phone including Pixel ...point and shoot Pixel always excels...but Samsung cameras are no slouch ...it’s preference ...some peeps still like Pixel for moving objects like kids and pets lol I have neither ...

Will I experience the same kind of smart replies with a Galaxy S21 plus as I do with my Pixel? I will be using Gboard and Google messages instead of the Samsung versions. I don't think I could live without those smart replies.
