Screenshots blank or screened when shared

Hi hope someone can help. I have samsung Note 4 running on Lollipop. Since the upgrade, I can take screenshots properly and they show up without a problem when opened in the gallery (although thumbnails are black, we you open them they are just fine). But whenever I try to share them through Viber or other apps they end up blank, black or screened. How do I share screenshots? Are there settings that I need to change?
